The Challenge

SimWin Sports is a groundbreaking fantasy esports platform with virtual, privately owned teams. Powered by an extensive large tech stack and leveraging Web3 technology, it is designed to emulate real sports seasons. It provides users with immersive fantasy sports experiences while enabling team owners to control their teams during a live game.

To provide consumers and team owners with this unique experience, SimWin needed a way to track team ownership, player contracts, user betting, and stats accurately and transparently during real-time game play. SimWin introduced a feature where players have the potential to earn revenue based on their in-game performance. However, this feature presented a particular challenge: not only did revenue payouts need to be divided among multiple accounts, and the metadata associated with player tokens needed to be adjustable to reflect their evolving stats throughout the season.

To attract users and investors, SimWin needed to demonstrate that a cryptocurrency-based sports game could generate profits while seamlessly scaling to accommodate a large volume of owners, player contracts, and user betting.

The Solution

Iversoft’s technical team possessed the knowledge and experience necessary to tackle the complexities of SimWin’s platform. By leveraging the immutability of blockchain technology, Iversoft enabled users to have increased transparency by providing a complete log of how gameplay impacts the stats and revenue of their players in real time – across multiple streaming platforms. To track those ever-changing player stats, our hands-on development team leveraged cutting-edge Web3 technology, specifically the ERC1155 token, to manage the different types of tokens that allow for nearly infinite token IDs and stats that evolve with every season and game.

Betting is an integral part of the SimWin experience. Iversoft implemented real-time communication to efficiently register bets before the end of gameplay, ensuring accurate responses. We also created custom smart contracts that automatically divide and distribute revenue based on the player’s in-game performance.

And the cherry on top? Our Project Manager streamlined communication between the frontend and backend teams, playing a crucial role in transforming SimWin from an ambitious vision to a fully functional product ready for launch.
